One of the UK’s pioneering AOR acts, AIRRACE were originally formed in 1982 by guitarist Laurie Mansworth, and it has been known in the Hard-Rock world for being the band that saw the musical debut of drummer Jason Bonham.

Following the acclaimed debut-album release “Shaft Of Light” (produced by Beau Hill in 1984), the band supported Rock giants such as Queen, AC/DC and Meat Loaf, but they stopped any activities in 1985. It took a 25th anniversary reissue of the debut to reunite the group (with a slightly amended line-up) and to record the come-back album, “Back To The Start”, released on Frontiers during 2011. After another long-7 years-time, AIRRACE lately have graced all AOR fans with a brand new studio-album, entitled “Untold Stories”, which is getting rave reviews from the specialist press.

They’ll bring their classic melodic Rock / AOR sound (with some 70’s influenced-tunes) on the “Live Club”-stage for a 45 minutes set of pure Class.

If you are into bands such as Work of Art, Art Nation, One Desire, and early H.E.A.T, then this band is for you. They’ll open the first day of the Fest with their storming sound. Don’t miss them!
