HARDLINE is living a second youth. Their debut album, “Double Eclipse”, back in 1992, brought the band formed by brothers Johnny (vocals) and Joey (guitar) Gioeli to a supergroup of sorts, featuring former Bad English members Neal Schon and Deen Castronovo, and entered Billboard charts with two singles, “Takin Me Down” and “Hot Cherie”.
After the 2002 “II” album, the band resurfaced in 2009 with the third studio-album, “Leaving The End Open”, and then again in 2012 with another great album, “Danger Zone”, and a brand new line-up composed of Alessandro Del Vecchio on keys, Josh Ramos (The Storm) on guitar, and the powerful rhythm section made up of bassist Anna Portalupi (Tarja) and drummer Francesco Jovino (Primal Fear, Jorn). Their style, a heavier and updated version of the original Hardline sound, took the Hard-Rock fans by surprise (in a good way) and led the band to finally go back on stage for a few shows.
On October 2016 HARDLINE put out their fifth album, “Human Nature”, with some live-dates to follow the release.
With two new musicians aboard, Mario Percudani who has replaced long-time guitarist Josh Ramos, and Marco Di Salvia who lately stepped in for Francesco Jovino, HARDLINE is once again ready to reinvent itself, playing with an even more in-your-face attitude. There are more surprises planned to look for, so you just cannot miss this show!
