NANA Onlus is a non-profit organisation created to the loving memory of Francesca Martini, a highly gifted girl of 14 years old who suddenly died for an acute myeloid leukemia. Her energy and vital spirit however didn’t get lost. NAnA Onlus was created to show less fortunate kids what they could actually achieve with their own life.
What NANA Onlus does with the money collected is based on the very motto “every child a genius.” The project of Nana Music – which was started thanks to a Serafino Perugino’s idea – focuses on the concept “ Music heals the soul”. NAnA Onlus offers young students of disadvantaged background the opportunity to register in a 3 year Diploma Course at Sonus Factory, in Rome, where they live in a fertile environment cultivating their passion and – at the end of the 3 year course – receive a Diploma from the Rock School of London.
Thanks to the collaboration between NAnA Onlus and Frontiers Music and thanks to the donors who supported NAnA Onlus on Frontiers 20th anniversary, in 2016, it is now time to award the first 2 scholarships.
The first 2 winners of NAnA Music Scholarships are Raul Manalo a 17-year-old guitar player and Hellison Fabri a 15-year-old singer will have the honor to kick off and perform the Frontiers Rock Festival acoustic night for the VIP and guests which will attend the party.
It is – to all of us – a reminder that we can actually contribute to improve young people life.
